American Web offers a T-1 line and usage of our FTP site for our clients to transfer digital files related to their production. Utilizing this capability requires FTP software; here are two software packages we have had success with:

Macintosh: view the Fetch webpage or download Fetch evaluation software.
Windows: view the WS_FTP webpage or download WS_FTP evaluation software.

Once you have one of the above software packages installed, contact your Customer Service Representative to establish an FTP user account.

Transferring files from Macintosh via FTP: As you are sending your files through our Windows NT Server, it is necessary to bundle your files in a bin/hex wrapper prior to transfer. To do this, we recommend Stuffit Deluxe.
